Howdy folks! Happy TDoV once again, as we come to you with a post about the plans for Lookouts this year, on its second anniversary! Wow! Admittedly there’s not a ton to share like last year, but we still have some things we think are exciting.

Comics

First, the final comics are finished! The Gold Edition is now complete with everything we’d planned to add to it, sorry it took so long but y’know, life gets in the way. We hope you enjoy these two new comics!

Translations

Second, the translations for Lookouts are coming! It’s been a long road but we can happily say that the game has been translated by several wonderful, generous volunteer translators into a few languages, with more in the works. Our current confirmed languages are: Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Italian. No concrete timeline on when these will be released but expect to see them in the next couple of months, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Commissions

Thirdly, Col is opening up for Lookouts style commissions! If you've ever wanted an icon, sprite, or scene with your characters as dashing outlaws you can send him an email to coldoggo [at] gmail [dot] com! He'll be opening mainly to raise funds to replace his outdated passport, so if you need any more incentive you’ll be helping a trans guy transition his documents. Yippee! What's next?

As for the future, Marble Claws is still around but is at the moment mostly a side project for us. The merch shop is still going strong, and we’re cooking up some new stuff that is exciting us, but it may be a while before we have anything to show off. When we do though, we’ll share it on our socials, so follow us where we’re around if you want to know when we have something new! We’re on twitter, tumblr, bluesky, and of course here on itchio.

Thank You

Once again, thank you all so much for your continued support of our gay little game. We still get so many wonderful comments and the game seems to never die down in having more people discover it every day; it’s genuinely astounding and means so much to us that people love these outlaws in a way we couldn’t have ever anticipated. While this anniversary is a little melancholy and marks the last of our work on Lookouts, this game will stay with us forever. We hope some of you will join us on the next leg of our journey too, as we ride into the sunset towards a new game.
